Thanks to new technology we are happy to present our first ever MLS NEXT team of the week from matches on March 9-10

The First MLS Next Team Of The Week consists of 18 players who impressed over this past match day. From scoring goals to lock down shutouts these are the boys we have as some of the best performers. The lineup is in a 4-3-3 formation with 6 substitutes. Some positions are a bit off to make sure we are able to fit the best players in the squad.

American Dual National At PSV Set To Play At Generation Adidas Cup

Austyn Jones is an electric striker for PSV U16 squad, and there are many rumors that he is heading to Generation Adidas Cup with their U17 group. Jones is a regular with the Dutch U16s as he is born in 2008. Jones is a consistent 30 plays goals a season player, and that should say enough. He has emerged as an important dual national after joining from Fc Utrecht last season.

Jones is reportedly eager to play for the already stacked United States 2008 group. The Generation adidas Cup will provide a great opportunity for jones to prove himself infant of USYNT scouts. Jones would compete with the likes of Chase Adams and Anisse Saidi for minutes at the number nine position.

Olivia Moultrie:
