Insider Information Regarding Youth Football + Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of Ga Cup

Here are some of the newest stories that we have no made public yet and a look ahead to Ga Cup

The Generation Adidas Cup kicks off this upcoming Saturday. Teams from across the world will flock to IMG Academy to compete in one of the best youth tournaments in the world.

Each team will play a total of three group stage matches in three days before having a day off in-between the knock out matches. The U15s will kick the day off in the morning, and then the U17s will play in the afternoon. The next two days will see the round of 16 matches and then the quarterfinals. Following this, the semifinals and finals will be played. The losers of each semifinal match will also play a third place playoff in each age group. Each team is guaranteed seven matches at the tournament, so even the teams who get knocked out of the group stage will still play friendly matches. These matches will fall on the same days as the knockout matches.

Insider Information Regarding Youth Football Players

Zavier Gozo - Via MLS

Here is a new section we will be brining to every couple of editions

The first two we will group together as a major star from the west coast is eyeing a move abroad. One has already agreed to a deal with a club from Germany. He is expected to move in the coming months. Cavan Sullivan has been in the headlines the past couple of days following Fabrizio Romano’s news regarding his possible move to Manchester City. In the past couple of months MLS and Philadelphia Union have ramped up their efforts to sign Sullivan. MLS is pushing hard for the deal to happen between the club and player, and it is still a possibility he signs for the club.

Zavier Gozo is a player people should expect to be integrated into the first team this season. Real Salt Lake rates him extremely high… as they should. Gozo has already signed a homegrown contract, and he first made the bench this past weekend against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Gozo could see minutes later in the season, and he is currently third in his position on the depth chart. The two players ahead of him are both USA youth internationals in Fidel Barajas and Diego Luna.

Ian James and Johan Ortiz are two players to watch from Sporting Kansas City. They have really developed in the past few months, and they are now regarded as the best prospects in the academy by many scouts.

2006 Keeper Julian Eyestone is currently with the USYNT U20s squad. He has been rumored to be heading to Brentford in England. We hinted at this move a few months ago in a post, but now we can confirm there is an offer on the table.

Omar Hassan, Mathis Albert, Cavan Sullivan, Ethan Dengy, and Adri Mehmeti are the 2009s that we are sure will compete at the U17 level at the Generation adidas Cup. MLS also released their Rising XI, and 6/11 players were in our ones to watch list.

Youth Soccer Central Partners With Real Sporting De Gjion

Youth Soccer Central has partnered with Real Sporting De Gjion. YSC is happy to announce that we have partnered with former La Liga club Real Sporting De Gijon in order to provide soccer players with the opportunity to play at the highest level possible. Sporting are currently fifth in the Segunda division in Span, and it is looking like they could possibly be promoted this season.

We are looking for players to bring to Europe for a trial, an opportunity to play in a professional environment, and take on top Spanish competition. Our estimated dates for this opportunity are August 1st-15th at Escuela de Fútbol Mareo (Real Sporting de Gijón La Liga club). This academy has produced the likes of David Villa and PSG manager Luis Enrique. We will be contacting and interviewing players that get registered on this form. Please prepare a proper highlight video for the meeting. Once a player gets accepted, he will receive confirmation through a letter of acceptance.

This groundbreaking partnership is designed to promote US soccer overseas’ this is why we are being extremely selective with the representatives. In addition to this, the players selected will also be representing the YSC brand when they face off against some of the best Spanish academies. The trip will have multiple games, and some of the top players could be chosen to join a Spanish club’s academy.
