International Squads For The 2025 Generation adidas Cup

The teams for the 2025 Generation adidas Cup have officially been announced. The likes of Bayern Munich, River Plate, and many more will head down to IMG Academy to compete in just under a month from now.

Under-16 Age Group

Via Bayern Munich

FC Bayern Munich - Germany

Bayern Munich U16s will head down to Florida to compete in the Generation adidas Cup. the most prolific club in Germany will be expected to field Leonard Prescott who is a part American goalkeeper who is also on the German national team.

Club America - Mexico

Club America qualifies for Ga Cup once again. A regular in this competition, Club America has struggled in recent years against both domestic and international competition. We will see if this age group can turn in around.

CF Monterrery - Mexico

CF Monterrery has made many appearances in this competition as well. Monterrey often performs a lot better than Club America, but this will be a younger squad. With new faces it will be interesting to see what the white and navy can do.

River Plate - Argentina

River Plate is always a dangerous team at the Generation adidas Cup. The Argentine powerhouse has a long history of developing world-class players, and their youth teams consistently play an exciting and attacking style of football. They will be a team to watch as they look to assert South American dominance in the tournament.

PSV - Netherlands

PSV Eindhoven has a reputation for nurturing top European talent, and their U16 squad will be eager to make an impact in this prestigious tournament. In their inaugural performance last yea , they did not live up to the expectations. Will this year be different?

VFB Stuttgart - Germany

VfB Stuttgart has one of the strongest youth academies in Germany, consistently producing players who go on to excel at the professional level. Will Recupero is a 2010 born American who recently made the move to Germany, and it will be in the squad for this tournament.

Fc Tokyo - Japan

FC Tokyo represents one of the strongest youth setups in Japan. Known for their tactical discipline and technical ability, the Japanese club will look to showcase the growing strength of football in their country.

Toluca FC - Mexico

Toluca is another regular at the Generation adidas Cup. It will be an interesting dynamic to see if this squad can do any damage. Toluca has not made any big waves at Generation adidas Cup in recent history.

Toulouse FC - France

Toulouse is coming off a finals appearance at the U15 level last yea . Toulouse will be one of the heavy favorites in this competition, as it will be the same age group competing in the competition again.

Uslan HD FC - South Korea

Ulsan HD FC is one of South Korea’s premier clubs, and their youth team will be eager to showcase their talent at the GA Cup. South Korean football has been on the rise, and Ulsan will look to continue that trend.

Under-18 Age Group

Club Bolivar - Bolivia

Bolivia’s Club Bolívar will bring their U18 team to the GA Cup. Bolivar was apart of the field two years ago, and this age group is back again in 2025. Bolivar are capable of making a run and will be a team to watch.

Inter Milan - Italy

Inter Milan may be the most exciting team in this whole tournament. A debut for the Italian side, and safe to say we are excited to see what they can do in the tournament.

Leicester City - England

Leicester City’s U18s will represent the Premier League in this competition. The club has produced several top talents in recent years, and this tournament will provide a glimpse into their next generation.

Palmerias - Brazil

Palmerias is another regular at the Generation adidas Cup. This team will be penciled in as an early favorite at this level. Palmerias seems to always make a run when they are invited.

Daejeon Hana Citizen - South Korea FC

Daejeon Hana Citizen’s U18 squad will look to make their mark in this international competition. We unfortunately can find little to no information on the asian clubs.

CF Monterrey - Mexico

The only international squad with two age groups. Their squad will aim to build on their club’s strong tradition in this tournament.

CAI Panama - Panama

The first squad from Panama to participate in the tournament in recent years will be incredibly exciting. CAI Panama is one of the rising forces in Central American football. Their participation in the GA Cup will be an opportunity to showcase their talented next generation.

Santos Laguna - Mexico

Santos is the final qualifier from Mexico for this edition of the tournament. Santos is usually a decent squad who poses a strong threat in the competition.
