LAFC VS RSL U17s

This week in MLS Next featured some of the top teams facing off against each other. The first when the Philadelphia Union took on Toronto FC. Philadelphia Union are coming off a rough loss against the New York Red Bulls U17 squad. Toronto FC have been flying as of late, and they have quickly turned into one of the top teams in the country. Diego Rocio opened the scoring early, but Toronto would add two inside the first 10 minutes. Anisse Saidi would bag in the fourteenth minute. A prolonged goal drought then occurred, and it was only broken in the 91st minute by Joses Chukwu. Toronto came out wit the 3-2 win. In the U15 fixture Malik Jakupovic opened up the scoring early on in the 19th minute for the Union. Olatimoni Gbalajobi bagged another one for Philadelphia in the 52nd minute. Toronto Fc would then go on to tie the game up through Matthias Olivares and Tristian Blyth. The battle would finish 2-2.

FC Cincinnati U17s took on Minnesota United in a central division rivalry. William Kuisel opened the scoring in the 9th minute to put FC Cincinnati up 1-0. Brandon Bent added to this lead when he made it 2-0. The second half flood gates opened in the 68th minute when Spencer Willis scored, and just seven minute later Aldair Flowers bagged his first of two. The match concluded in a 5-0 win for Fc Cincinnati. The Under-15 fixture featured the same vibes. Chance Malilo would score the first of 6 for Fc Cincinnati in the 22nd minute. David Brimmer, Isaiah Izaguirre, Anson Senter, and Harlan Smith would bag the others. Minnesota did pick up two goals through Hamza Elattaoui and Tim Dennis, but it wasn’t enough on the day.

The Portland Timbers headed dow not LA to do a double fixture against LAFC and LA Galaxy. The U17s took on LA Galaxy first. Max Eisenberg would open the scoring for the Timbers in the 65th minute, but two late goals from LA Galaxy would see them steal the victory. Kai Aina bagged the winner in the 96th minute. The U15 LA Galaxy team would pick up right where they left off. a 3-1 win saw them coast past the Timbers U15s. LAFC U17s took on Portland yesterday morning. Amaury Sanders and Adrian Aguilar bagged early for LAFC. Nolan Beck and D’kaprio Tejeda did score for Portland to tie the score up at 2-2, but LAFC would ass two more through new signing Marius Aiyenero and James Lane to see out a 4-2 dub.

Inter Miami U17s took on Nashville Sc on Sunday… and it was a blood bath. Inter Miami opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Mateo Pereyra, and after that the floodgates opened. Endri Mustali bagged two followed by another brace by Jack Pynm. Dani Pinter bagged a goal in the 51st minute, and just after that Endri Mustali completed his hat trick. Dylan Bustamante bagged in the 87th minute for Inter Miami to complete the 8-0 win.

In our final featured future we take a look at New England Revolution vs Charlotte FC. Raphael Alves bagged the first goal in the U17 tie for the New England Revolution. In the 32nd minute a red card was shown to Charlotte Fc player Ethan Curtis for serious foul play. Despite this, Michael Tremagilo scored for Charlotte FC in the 40th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Rocket Ritarita bagged for Charlotte FC after a recent move from southern rivals Atlanta United. Joshua Partal noted the game up in the 93rd minute to make it 2-2. The match would go on to finish this way.

Young Stars In MLS Next Pro

Columbus Crew 2 Player Chase Adams

Sunday saw a ton of young stars take the field in MLS Next Pro. 2008 player Chase Adams scored his second goal of the season against NYRB II. Adams was with the USYNT for last summer’s CONCACAF Championships. Another USYNT player to score was Jonathan Shore from NYCFC. Shore bagged the lone goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately for NYCFC, they fell to Crown Legacy FC 3-1. Nimfasha Berchimas was unable able to convert a penalty kick in the match. 2006 player Aron John picked up two assists, and this earned him a 9.0 Fotmob rating and the MOTM award. Stefan Chirila made his first professional start for FC Cincinnati II against the Philadelphia Union as well. Chirila has 41 goals this across all competitions. Another 2007 player, Stiven Jimenez, was one of the better players in this match. Jimenez has already played for the first team this season in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. 16-Year-Old Neil Pierre also featured in this match and he went the full 90’.
